I grew up in the countryside of a small Indiana town. I was always playing in the woods and grew to appreciate the beauty of nature; it felt like home to me and as if I were part of something bigger than myself.
When I was 18, my parents bought me a DSLR for Christmas. I took to the woods with my new camera and quickly became fascinated by how many ways I could shoot one subject.
Over the years the camera has enabled me to see the same place in many different lights, and capture the most beautiful, and sometimes the ugliest, moments of a location. Photography also allows me to travel and connect with many people that I otherwise would never have met.
